Sophic was formed in early 2004 at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.  Sophic quickly began garnering a respectable web design client list by adopting three then-new advertising web marketing mediums; Google Pay-Per-Click, Search Engine Optimization and Craigslist.

Based on this early web marketing success and experience for itself, Sophic soon began offering Search Engine Marketing and Craiglist Ad Design services to its clients.

These cumulative successes lead to larger scale project wins and the need for expansion.  A Sophic office was opened in Colorado and won clients such as Vail Resorts, 3t Systems and Denver Pavilions.

As social networks such as LinkedIn and Facebook grew in acceptance, significance and marketability, Sophic added social network marketing to its service portfolio in early 2008.
