Widget draws international attention; new suite will allow customers to seamlessly interact with Sophic from their desktops
01/13/06 DENVER, CO – Sophic Inc. has released it’s first widget in an upcoming suite of widgets that will allow new customers to sign up for services, add additional services, request updates to their websites and to provide easy access to a number of other offerings.
Sophic specializes in quickly delivering identity services to small businesses who need custom, professional design work that’s very affordable. A widget is a simple, tiny program that runs on a user’s to desktop to allow for immediate access to information and services.
The Sophic widget is available for download on the Apple.com Widget gallery. It links new customers to Sophic’s Service Wizard, a first of its kind design application flow that assists customer with selecting identity services as a bundle or a la carte.
Our initial widget is designed to attract new customers to our website Steven Harrell, Sophic CEO said. It presents a terrific exposure opportunity. Apple is at the forefront of technological innovation and we are ecstatic to be featured on their site.
We logged visitors from Japan, France and Costa Rica within the first couple hours of the widget debuting on Apple’s site, Harrell said. This widget is one just facet of our first publicity and marketing campaign this year. It has been our most successful campaign to date, hands down.
Sophic also has other widgets under development. These widgets are designed to be a persistent, always ready desktop interface into Sophic. The widgets will reside on customers’ desktops.
